Every copy is personalised with the buyer's name and order reference. This is a deterrent against redistribution, not a restriction: the file has no DRM, opens in any reader, and can be kept on as many of your own devices as you like.
Seven days, no argument. If the book does not earn its price, reply to your Stripe receipt within 7 days of purchase and say so. The full amount is returned. You are not asked to prove anything or delete the file.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed, with no fixed expiry. The reason is plain: Bill Kimura is writing a series, and the list exists so readers hear about the next book. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works from a single click.
Ask, and everything tied to you is deleted from this site, from the email provider, and from the analytics service — within 30 days, and usually the same week. Write to hello@readbillkimura.com. Order and invoice records are the one exception: tax law sets how long those must be kept, not us.
